On a continental scale, the American attacking midfielder also ranks among Europe’s elite finishers, outperforming even Erling Haaland<\/a> in efficiency across the top five leagues.<\/p>\n

After a turbulent season that saw them miss out on European football and endure two managerial changes, Milan<\/a> have re-emerged as a force under Massimiliano Allegri.<\/p>\n

The Rossoneri sit second in the table behind Inter<\/a>, driven by the arrival of Luka Modric<\/a>, the development of Davide Bartesaghi<\/a>, and the resurgence of Alexis Saelemaekers<\/a> on the right flank.<\/p>\n

While Lautaro Martinez<\/a> leads the overall scoring chart with 10 goals, he has played five more matches than Pulisic, who sits just two goals behind.<\/p>\n

Europe’s most lethal attacking midfielder<\/p>\n

When penalties are excluded, Pulisic boasts the best goal-per-minute ratio among non-centre-forwards in Europe’s top five leagues. In the continental rankings, he places sixth overall, trailing only pure strikers such as Robert Lewandowski<\/a>, Harry Kane<\/a> and Jonathan Burkardt<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With a goal every 98.3 minutes, Pulisic outperforms Haaland’s 101.5-minute average, despite the Norwegian’s higher overall tally. Crucially, the Milan star is the only attacking midfielder or wide forward among Europe’s most efficient scorers.<\/p>\n

At 27, Pulisic is operating at full physical, technical and mental maturity. His numbers suggest a personal best is imminent, confirming him not only as Milan’s decisive attacking weapon but as Europe’s most efficient attacking midfielder this season.<\/p>\n
