\n\tEXCLUSIVE: Norwegian filmmaker Anna Fredrikke Bjerke has wrapped production on her debut feature, Let It Come Down<\/a>, a psychological drama starring Eliza Scanlen<\/a> (Sharp Objects), Edvin Ryding<\/a> (Young Royals), and Charlie Rowe<\/a> (Jay Kelly).\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tDirected by Bjerke from a screenplay she also wrote, the film follows a couple who travel to a secluded family home to restore it ahead of an appraisal survey. But their weekend is interrupted by an unexpected visitor whose presence tests the limits of mutual desire and causes passions to collide, leading to fatal consequences.<\/p>\n

\n\tReinvent Yellow is representing world sales and will launch the project at the upcoming European Film Market.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe supporting cast includes Sam Hazeldine, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Jude Bain, Jacob Ferguson, and Eilidh McKerracher. Producers on the project are Kami Naghdi of Constance Media and Isabella Speaight and Molly Murphy of Backscatter Productions<\/a>. Fremantle alum Nastasja Borgeot is a co-producer through her new production outfit Average Plus Productions. Exec producers are Dinara Kulibayeva and Alexandre Montavon. Casting was by Hannah Marie Williams (Rabbit Trap) and Kristina Erderly (The Brutalist), Lorenzo Levrini was the DoP, and Andy Harris was the production designer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tLet It Come Down was shot in October 2025 in Scotland. The project was selected for the Nordic Co-Production Market at New Nordic Films in Haugesund.<\/p>\n

\n\tBjerke is a Norwegian writer-director based in London. Her shorts have\u00a0screened at BAFTA and Oscar-qualifying festivals. She has also landed a Vimeo Staff Pick and a Vimeo Best of the Year award. She is an alum of Abi Morgan\u2019s Little Chick Writers\u2019 Retreat and Directors UK\u2019s Inspire talent development programme. She is repped by 42.<\/p>\n

\n\tLet It Come Down also marks the feature debuts of Speaight and Murphy of Backscatter Productions. Their short-form work includes the postpartum thriller Wild Animal, directed by Beth Park and starring Charlotte Riley, and Pigs, a surrealist dark comedy directed by Julia Jackman (100 Nights of Hero), starring Olivia Williams, Bessie Carter, Amar Chadha-Patel, and Jim Carter. Alongside Let It Come Down, they are developing a slate of feature films across genres.<\/p>\n

\n\tNaghdi\u2019s credits include Rescue Dawn, written and directed by Werner Herzog, starring Christian Bale. He also co-produced Sharon Maguire\u2019s film Incendiary, starring Michelle Williams, Ewan McGregor, and Matthew Macfadyen.<\/p>\n
