The three releases, among the most acclaimed films of 2025, are being distributed by Neon. They are viewed as leading Oscar contenders and all of them have been shortlisted for best international feature.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cIt Was Just an Accident\u201d was directed by Jafar Panahi and won the Palme d\u2019Or at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, marking Neon\u2019s sixth consecutive Palme d\u2019Or win. It was nominated for four Golden Globes including best motion picture \u2013 drama and best director. <br \/>\u00a0<br \/>\u201cSentimental Value\u201d was directed by Joachim Trier and was Cannes\u2019 Grand Prix winner. The film was nominated for eight Golden Globes, winning best supporting actor for Stellan Skarsgaard, with additional nominations including best picture and best director. <br \/>\u00a0<br \/>\u201cThe Secret Agent\u201d was directed by Kleber Mendon\u00e7a Filho. It was nominated for three Golden Globes including best motion picture \u2013 drama and won two, best actor \u2013 drama for Wagner Moura and best foreign language film. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tNeon\u2019s 2026 slate of upcoming releases include Ugo Bienvenu\u2019s\u00a0\u201cArco,\u201d releasing Jan. 23; Oliver Laxe\u2019s\u00a0\u201cSirat,\u201d\u00a0releasing Feb. 6, Matt Johnson\u2019s\u00a0\u201cNirvanna the Band the Show the Movie,\u201d\u00a0releasing Feb. 13;\u00a0Baz Luhrmann\u2019s\u00a0\u201cEPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert,\u201d releasing Feb. 20; Steven Soderbergh\u2019s\u00a0\u201cThe Christophers\u201d;\u00a0and Boots Riley\u2019s\u00a0\u201cI Love Boosters,\u201d\u00a0which is set to open SXSW this year. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tNeon previously released \u201cParasite,\u201d Bong Joon Ho\u2019s darkly comic 2019 thriller, and \u201cAnora,\u201d Sean Baker\u2019s 2024 comedy, both of which won best picture at the Oscars.
