[INTIME]<\/p>\n<p>The state budget\u2019s primary surplus strongly exceeded targets last year resulting in a small overall surplus, according to preliminary data provided by the Finance Ministry Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The primary surplus \u2013 which excludes the cost of servicing Greece\u2019s public debt \u2013 hit \u20ac8 billion in January-December 2025, compared to a budgetary target of \u20ac5.32 billion.
