TAMPA, Fla., January 16, 2026\u00a0\u2013 The University of South Florida men’s basketball team (11-6, 3-1) continues conference play on Sunday afternoon, hosting Wichita State (10-8, 2-3) at 2 p.m. for the Alumni Game at the Yuengling Center.<\/p>\n
The matchup will also serve as the program’s inaugural Dunking Rocky game. The first 4,000 fans in attendance will receive a complimentary light-up Dunking Rocky rally towel upon entry. Fans will also have the first opportunity to purchase exclusive Dunking Rocky merchandise, available for the first time and exclusively inside the Yuengling Center team store while supplies last. Last Time Out The win built on the undefeated two-game conference road trip at North Texas and Tulsa and improved the Bulls to 3\u20131 in American Conference play. \nAbout USF Men’s Basketball
\nSouth Florida men’s basketball named\u00a0Bryan Hodgson<\/a>, 37, as the program’s 12th head coach on March 24, 2025. Hodgson came to Tampa from Arkansas State, where he led the program to back-to-back 20-win seasons and its first postseason appearance since 1999 in his two seasons at the helm.

\nThe program, entering its 55th\u00a0season in 2025-26, most recently won the American Athletic Conference regular season championship in 2023-24 and has made 13 postseason appearances, including three NCAA Tournaments, nine NITs, and a CBI championship in 2019.
