At which point NAS interrupted with, \u201cI think he\u2019d had a few beers\u201d.<\/p>\n

After dropping Latimore with a thudding uppercut, the referee was still only midway through his count when Asofa-Solomona jumped up onto the ropes to begin celebrations \u2013 which included a throat slitting gesture.<\/p>\n

Among those being discussed next up for the 130kg enforcer are Burgess, NSW Origin hero Paul Gallen, North Queensland prop Matt Lodge, even St George Illawarra great Matt Cooper.<\/p>\n
Another man keen to throw down with Asofa-Solomona is Curtis Scott, with the 2017 NRL premiership winner currently chasing fights across boxing, Mixed Martial Arts, even bare-knuckle boxing.<\/p>\n
While Scott was in Latimore\u2019s corner on Friday night, he would almost certainly be the biggest crossover test for the fighter dubbed \u2018Big Nasty\u2019 \u2013 and is willing to take the bout even though he fights at just 94kg. <\/p>\n

So as for who NAS wants?<\/p>\n
\u201cLine \u2018em all up,\u201d he shrugged, \u201cand I\u2019ll knock them down\u201d.<\/p>\n
Speaking on SEN radio this week, Burgess confirmed reports he wanted to throw down against Asofa-Solomona next.<\/p>\n
\u201cI got offered a boxing fight in 2019 against Barry Hall,\u201d the former Bunnies bookend explained. \u201cBut I turned it down, didn\u2019t have enough time to prep for it.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I\u2019m thinking now the timing is right.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I\u2019m thinking maybe Nelson needs to pick on someone his own size\u201d.<\/p>\n
Asked about his fight history, Burgess continued: \u201cI\u2019ve done a fair bit of boxing in my rugby career and am training at the minute.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo two big heavyweights going at each other.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think he weighed in at 133kg, I\u2019ve got him covered by two kilos.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo it would be a good match up.\u201d<\/p>\n
When asked about how it felt walking to the ring for his hyped No Limit debut, NAS replied: \u201cHonestly, I was just numb.<\/p>\n
\u201cCold blooded.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was just locked in.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou saw me on my walkout.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just had one man on my mind.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut it\u2019s all about putting on a show and hopefully everyone enjoyed themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n
