In the finale\u2019s big match, Hezekiah beat the American champion Buster Williams, but when Buster was pronounced dead, the contest was declared void and a mob formed, forcing Hezekiah to escape.<\/p>\n

Mary and Alice freed Mr Lao from prison and helped him get out of London by staging a death in his cell.<\/p>\n

Finally, Sugar revealed the identity of Alec\u2019s murderer, Indigo Jeremy, to Hezekiah, a revelation that destroyed him and ruined his plan to run away with Mary, because he confronted her and told her she\u2019s \u201cdead to him.\u201d Meanwhile, Sugar learns his brother Treacle survived the beating, and their relationship is left badly fractured.<\/p>\n
