Wilson is hoping to return soon after the Reds\u2019 bye in Round 2.<\/p>\n
\u201cWallabies skipper Harry Wilson has successfully undergone minor surgery on his right knee,\u201d the Reds said in a statement.<\/p>\n
\u201cWilson sustained a knee injury during that Test against the Springboks and was forced off after scoring the second of his two tries.<\/p>\n
\u201cRugby Australia and the Queensland Reds this week agreed that a clean-up of the knee would guarantee the best longer-term result for a player of such importance.<\/p>\n
\u201cWilson is expected to be sidelined for approximately six weeks, having undergone surgery in Brisbane on Friday.\u201d<\/p>\n
Reds coach Les Kiss believes they have the depth to cover his absence for their opening match on February 13 against the Waratahs.<\/p>\n
