LOUISVILLE, Ky. \u2014\u00a0Eastern Kentucky kept its perfect Atlantic Sun Conference record intact as the Colonels defeated the shorthanded Bellarmine University women’s basketball team 90-46 on Saturday afternoon in Knights Hall.<\/p>\n

The conference’s lone remaining undefeated team in league play, Eastern Kentucky (15-4, 6-0 ASUN) was paced by Ndidiamaka Ndukwe’s game-high 23 points and 20 more from Kenleigh Woods. The ASUN’s highest-scoring offense produced an even 50-percent shooting clip from the field and 11 3-pointers.<\/p>\n

Sophomore forward Kayce Hyman<\/a> set a new career high with 19 points for Bellarmine (2-17, 0-6) while sophomore guard Ava Smith<\/a> matched her career best with 16 points, duplicating her total from Thursday’s game against Austin Peay.<\/p>\n

Due to its rash of injuries, Bellarmine was again down to seven players, including only five who were on the original 2025-26 roster. Freshman guard Olivia Pifer<\/a>, a walk-on who joined the Knights this month, made her first collegiate start and racked up a game-high four steals.<\/p>\n

Ndukwe and Jasmine Jordan, who finished with 15 points, combined for 25 points in the first half as EKU built a 44-24 lead. Freshman center Haya Abdel Aal<\/a> contributed nine points and six rebounds for the Knights.<\/p>\n

Bellarmine will host North Florida at 6:30 p.m. (ET) Thursday.<\/p>\n
