Few people have had as exciting a January as Jessie Buckley<\/a>. The Irish actor, who now has a Golden Globe<\/a> and a Critics Choice award<\/a> under her belt, has been celebrating her award-season sweep with emotional speeches, talk show interviews, and striking style choices alike. And at Jimmy Kimmel Live, she hit all three.<\/p>\n Sitting down with the host to discuss all things Hamnet, Buckley let viewers in on her experience working with co-star Paul Mescal<\/a> on the award-winning film, growing up without a television, and the Polish crew member who she thanked in her Golden Globes speech for making a potato-onion-carrot-meat soup on set. \u201cI actually texted him yesterday morning,\u201d the actor told Kimmel about the chef. \u201cI was like, \u2018I hope you\u2019re not getting hounded for the recipe for your soup.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMy cinematographer said it\u2019s been all over Polish news,\u201d she continued, joking that he\u2019ll be setting up a new cooking show soon. \u201cThe poles take their soup very, very seriously. And this poor guy is on holidays in Tenerife and he just woke up to hearing his name be called out on the Golden Globes stage.\u201d<\/p>\n PG\/Bauer-Griffin\/\/Getty Images<\/p>\n For the occasion, Buckley picked out a Chanel<\/a> look from Matthieu Blazy\u2019s Spring\/Summer 2026 collection<\/a>. On top, she went with a white button-down shirt, designed with a bib panel, hidden button placket, and structured cuffs.
