Pictures<\/p>\n<p>DC Studios chief James Gunn has been relatively quiet in recent weeks, only shooting down the odd report every now and then.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s now changed with Gunn offering a wave of updates on the DC slate of projects via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.threads.net\/jamesgunn\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Threads<\/a> in recent days, with <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/GeekVibesNation\/status\/2013004827324723624\" rel=\"nofollow\">GVN<\/a> offering a good compilation of the assorted rumours he\u2019s cleared up and status reports on a number of projects.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest reveal is that cinematographer Sam McCurdy (\u201cShogun,\u201d \u201cMonarch: Legacy of Monsters\u201d), who previously worked with Gunn on \u201cPeacemaker,\u201d will lens the upcoming \u201cSuperman\u201d follow-up \u201cMan of Tomorrow\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>That project is currently casting smaller roles with Gunn confirming most of the major cast are characters we\u2019ve already met.<\/p>\n<p>He also confirmed Batman and Wonder Woman are not in the film, rather they\u2019re casting a different female character, which some have mistaken for Wonder Woman.<\/p>\n<p>Any rumours about Batman and Wonder Woman auditions are false, and there\u2019ll be no updates on \u201cThe Brave and the Bold\u201d until the script is done: \u201cI don\u2019t want to cloud the Batsphere until after The Batman Part II\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>No \u201cClayface\u201d trailer is coming for several months; the movie is still being cut and is still set for September.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDynamic Duo\u201d will NOT be rewritten to fit the DCU, and is moving ahead smoothly.  Finally, several more DCU films are close to being greenlit, with one secret one already getting the go-ahead.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Warner Bros.
