{"id":422287,"date":"2026-01-19T01:20:08","date_gmt":"2026-01-19T01:20:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/422287\/"},"modified":"2026-01-19T01:20:08","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T01:20:08","slug":"sophie-turner-on-being-a-young-mom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/422287\/","title":{"rendered":"Sophie Turner on Being a Young Mom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/sophie_turner\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sophie Turner<\/a> is getting real about having kids in her 20s.<\/p>\n<p>The Game of Thrones alum\u2014who shares daughters Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, with ex-husband <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/joe_jonas\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Joe Jonas<\/a>\u2014opened up about the benefits of having her kids early in life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s really nice,\u201d Sophie, 29, told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/tv-and-radio\/2026\/jan\/16\/sophie-turner-interview-rage-romance-horror-watching-game-of-thrones\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Guardian<\/a> in an interview published Jan. 16. \u201cI\u2019m not worrying about my biological clock and all that sort of stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And having her little girls also allowed her to focus on family life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt just felt like the right break to focus on me, because I\u2019d been a character for so long,&#8221; she explained. \u201cNesting and being at home was amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/1426153\/sophie-turners-cryptic-message-endings-and-beginnings-of-life\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">much-needed break from acting<\/a> also presented career challenges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut the flipside of it, and Covid didn\u2019t help, was that this was a big break from the career,\u201d she added, \u201cAnd I\u2019ve had to try to rebuild, in a way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The X-Men: Dark Phoenix actress continued, \u201cYou don\u2019t realize how important momentum is in a career, and I stalled it a bit.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Sophie Turner is getting real about having kids in her 20s.
