Step 1: Getting set up<\/p>\n

Create a SuperCoach<\/a> account and choose your sport.<\/p>\n

Select Classic, the most popular format for beginners.<\/p>\n

From there, you\u2019ll be prompted to build your first team.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t stress if you don\u2019t know every player\u2019s name yet. <\/p>\n

Step 2: Building your first team<\/p>\n

You\u2019re given a salary cap and must fill every position.<\/p>\n

Player prices reflect past scoring, so balancing stars with value picks is key.<\/p>\n

Start simple:<\/p>\n

* Choose a core of reliable premium players<\/p>\n

* Add mid-priced options with upside<\/p>\n

* Fill out the rest with cheaper rookies to stay under the cap<\/p>\n

Your first team won\u2019t be perfect and it doesn\u2019t need to be.<\/p>\n

You can make unlimited changes until the season starts, then make more trades through the season.<\/p>\n

Early rounds are crucial, but don\u2019t panic.<\/p>\n

* Trade with purpose. Swap underperformers or long-term injuries and consider trading in players whose roles have changed or who are scoring big unexpectedly.<\/p>\n

Watch for cheapies about to shoot up in price \u2013 that cash is crucial.<\/p>\n
