\n Thousands of nominations were made, with fitness fans across the borough putting forward their favourite gyms in a bid to see them crowned best in the borough.\n<\/p>\n
\n The shortlist features a mix of independent gyms and specialist fitness centres alongside more modern facilities, all of which play a key role in helping Bolton residents stay active, healthy and motivated.\n<\/p>\n
\n With the New Year well under way, many people will already be working through their resolutions, with getting fitter and healthier high on the list.\n<\/p>\n
\n From welcoming complete beginners who may need one-to-one support on gym equipment, to creating strong fitness communities and delivering specialist training, each gym on the shortlist brings something unique to Bolton.\n<\/p>\n

\n Newsquest\u2019s Regional Editor North West and Editor of The Bolton News, Richard Duggan, praised the shortlisted gyms for their impact on the community.\n<\/p>\n
