Nicole Kidman\u2019s teenage daughters are reportedly refusing to meet their father Keith Urban\u2019s new girlfriend following the couple\u2019s shock split.<\/p>\n

The Big Little Lies star and the country music singer stunned fans when they announced their marriage was over in September, bringing an end to their 19-year relationship \u2014 long seen as one of Hollywood\u2019s most solid.<\/p>\n

While the legal side of the separation has been quietly wrapped up, sources say the emotional fallout is still playing out behind closed doors.<\/p>\n

Keith Urban is rumoured to be dating 26-year-old rising country singer Karley Scott Collins \u2014 a development said to have pushed his daughters firmly into Nicole Kidman\u2019s corner.<\/p>\n

According to The Daily Mail<\/a>, 17-year-old Sunday Rose, and 15-year-old Faith Margaret are \u201crefusing to meet Urban\u2019s new girlfriend\u201d as a sign of loyalty to their mother.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe girls are really focused on mum right now. They\u2019re adjusting to all the changes, and it\u2019s natural they want to protect their space,\u201d a family friend told reporters.<\/p>\n

An insider also told The Daily Mail that Kidman has shown her daughters on her social media more than ever before.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey were with her in Paris and in Sydney. She posted pictures of them all taking part in a \u2018turkey trot\u2019 running race on Thanksgiving which is really unusual, she\u2019s generally more private than that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, sources say Urban is trying to juggle his own life while putting his daughters\u2019 needs first.<\/p>\n

Away from family matters, Urban is reportedly throwing himself into his music, with claims he is currently in Nashville renovating a studio on Music Row and working on a new breakup album.<\/p>\n
