Liverpool<\/a> have edged out narrow wins against weak opposition like Wolves and a nine-man Tottenham Hotspur.<\/p>\n They have also been held against some mid to lower-league sides, most recently drawing 1-1 with Burnley.<\/p>\n What Steven Gerrard said about Arne Slot<\/p>\n The Clarets have spent much of 2025\/26 in the relegation zone, and drawing at home to them was unacceptable in the eyes of Steven Gerrard<\/a>.<\/p>\n Covering the stalemate as a pundit for TNT Sports, Gerrard gave a blunt assessment of Slot\u2019s Liverpool<\/a>.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cWell that won\u2019t be acceptable, a draw with Burnley at home, with all due respect. And I\u2019m critical of the Liverpool team even though they are on a better run in terms of unbeaten games.<\/p>\n \u201cThe draws to Leeds and Burnley at home, you know and I know, that\u2019s not acceptable. Does that worry you?\u201d The host of the No Tippy Tappy Football<\/a> podcast with Sam Allardyce asked.<\/p>\n \u201cVoicing concerns about the manager?\u201d Thompson asked.<\/p>\n \u201cHas he been doing that?\u201d Allardyce responded. \u201cApparently he has,\u201d the host said.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, I haven\u2019t heard that. You\u2019ve literally shocked me.
