Jake Paul isn’t at all impressed with Conor McGregor – who has documented his training return.<\/p>\n

McGregor hasn’t fought in the UFC<\/a> since his 2021 defeat to Dustin Poirier, but has two fights remaining on his contract with Dana White<\/a>‘s promotion.<\/p>\n

Paul wants McGregor to call a day on his combat sports career<\/p>\n

He recently announced his intentions<\/a> to finally make a comeback on the UFC White House card in 2026, and even entered the drug testing pool.<\/p>\n

Now McGregor is looking to continue his preparations, and has began training in new footage on social media.<\/p>\n

The Irishman was seen practicing his striking before throwing multiple round house kicks as he worked on his combinations.<\/p>\n

But YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, who has criticised and feuded with McGregor in the past, took a brutal stance on his new work.<\/p>\n

He wrote in the comments: “Bro just give it up lol.”<\/p>\n

Paul was inciting that McGregor should give up his MMA career entirely at the age of 37.<\/p>\n

And that was a viewpoint shared by some fans in the comments, as one agreed: “You had a great run, but its done.”<\/p>\n

Another wrote: “Shadow boxing is sadly the only kind of boxing we’ll ever see Conor do again.”<\/p>\n

Paul has regularly called out McGregor for either an MMA or boxing showdown, but official talks never materialised.<\/p>\n

The pair met<\/a> at US president Donald Trump’s inauguration earlier in the year, but were seemingly on more positive terms.<\/p>\n

McGregor has responded to the American sporadically, but is clearly now driven by new ambitions to return to the cage.<\/p>\n

History will be made on the White House bill, with UFC superstar Jon Jones<\/a> also wanting to fight on the card.<\/p>\n

McGregor has teased several names for his return from a lengthy hiatus including Michael Chandler.<\/p>\n

He was set to face Chandler last year but the bout collapsed<\/a> as he was forced to withdraw with a new injury.<\/p>\n

But there is a feeling of unfinished business and it could be a good tune-up opportunity.<\/p>\n

The likes of Paddy Pimblett<\/a> and Ilia Topuria would also be big name opportunities if McGregor is able to draw them into a showdown.<\/p>\n
