The son of the US President dialled 999 when he answered the phone to see his friend allegedly being attacked.<\/p>\n

A British woman has told a court that Donald Trump\u2019s youngest son Barron \u201csaved her life\u201d after he allegedly witnessed her being viciously attacked during a FaceTime call and dialled 999.<\/p>\n

Barron Trump<\/a>, 19, was speaking to the woman in January 2025 when he<\/a> allegedly saw her ex-boyfriend beating her, an east London court has heard. Barron<\/a> rang emergency services from the States, with the son of the US President<\/a> alerting police to the attack allegedly unfolding across the Atlantic Ocean.<\/p>\n

Her ex, 22-year-old former MMA fighter Matvei Rumiantsev, is currently on trial for alleged attacks on the woman. The Russian-born east London man has denied all charges against him, which are for assault, actual bodily harm, two counts of rape, intentional strangulation and perverting the course of justice.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors allege Rumiantsev flew into a jealous rage over the woman\u2019s friendship with Barron on the night in question, with the call on January 18 last year is said to have sparked the violent outburst.<\/p>\n

The court heard Rumiantsev allegedly grabbed her by the hair, shoved her to the floor, shouted \u201cyou are not worth anything\u201d, kicked her in the stomach and called her several misogynsistic slurs.<\/p>\n

Jurors were played Barron\u2019s 999 call, in which he pleaded with the operator: \u201cIt\u2019s really an emergency, please. I got a call from her with a guy beating her up.\u201d<\/p>\n

The emergency operator urged him to answer questions properly, telling him: \u201cCan you stop being rude and actually answer my questions\u2026 If you want to help the person, you\u2019ll answer my questions clearly and precisely.\u201d Barron replied: \u201cI met her on social media. She\u2019s getting really badly beat up and the call was about eight minutes ago, I don\u2019t know what could have happened by now.\u201d He later added: \u201cSo sorry for being rude.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police were dispatched to the address, with bodycam footage played to the court showing officers arriving and questioning the woman, the Daily Mail<\/a> reports. They told her someone in the US had called but had not given his name. She then told officers: \u201cI am friends with Barron Trump, Donald Trump\u2019s son.\u201d One officer was heard telling a colleague: \u201cSo apparently this informant from America is likely to be Donald Trump\u2019s son.\u201d<\/p>\n

With police present, the woman called Barron back. In footage played to jurors, he said: \u201cShe called me. I picked up the phone expecting a nice hello or something. I just saw a ceiling and could hear screaming. I could see a guy\u2019s head on the phone, and then the camera turns to her crying and getting hit.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to The Independent<\/a>, Barron said the call lasted between 10 and 15 seconds before it disconnected, which led him to call 999. \u201cI called you guys \u2013 that was the best thing I could do,\u201d he told officers. \u201cI wasn\u2019t going to call back and threaten things to him because that would just make the situation worse.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking in court, the woman said: \u201cHe helped save my life. That call was like a sign from God at that moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

The court heard the couple had been in a relationship for around six months and that Rumiantsev had assaulted her, including by strangling, after they got into an argument. Months later, she made further complaints, alleging she had been raped twice \u2013 once in November 2024 and again just hours before police arrived at his apartment on January 18. He is also accused of trying to pressure her into withdrawing her allegations.<\/p>\n

Rumiantsev\u2019s barrister, Sasha Wass KC, challenged the woman\u2019s account in court, Metro<\/a> writes. Wass accused the woman of fabricating her claims and that the defendant had only restrained her after she behaved \u201cin an angry and violent way\u201d towards him. \u201cYou invented this wholly untrue and fabricated account that he raped you on those two occasions \u2013 you were never raped,\u201d the barrister told her.<\/p>\n

The woman replied: \u201cI didn\u2019t invent that. That would be completely evil and disgraceful toward people who have been in that situation.”<\/p>\n
