Addressing Drake, Pharrell, and the \u201cMeltdown\u201d verse, Scott calls Pusha T\u2019s version of events \u201ccrazy\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTravis Scott<\/a> has responded to Pusha T<\/a>\u2019s recent diss aimed at him, disputing claims that he interrupted a studio session with Pharrell and selectively withheld Drake<\/a>\u2019s verse from the producer.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe conflict came into public view with Clipse<\/a>\u2019s 2025 single \u201cSo Be It,<\/a>\u201d in which Pusha T takes direct shots at Scott amid the long-running Drake\u2013Pusha feud. In interviews around the song\u2019s release, Push suggested that Scott crashed a session he was having with Pharrell to play Utopia, Scott\u2019s 2023 album, only to withhold Drake\u2019s verse from \u201cMeltdown,\u201d where Drizzy takes shots at Pharrell. Push framed the move as disingenuous.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn his Rolling Stone cover story<\/a>, Scott rejects that version of events. \u201cWhen you go back and look at it \u2026 it\u2019s crazy,\u201d he says. \u201cNiggas said I had a film crew [with me]. I\u2019m like, \u2018What?\u2019 I remember when I pulled up, it was them niggas that had a film crew. I was like, \u2018Oh, shit. Am I in a documentary?\u2019\u201d According to Scott, he wasn\u2019t crashing the session because Pharrell asked him to come. \u201cFirst of all, I can\u2019t interrupt something that somebody asked me to come pull up on,\u201d he says. As for the allegation that he deliberately didn\u2019t play Drake\u2019s \u201cMeltdown\u201d verse, Scott says it simply wasn\u2019t finished at the time. \u201cI can\u2019t play something somebody didn\u2019t even have at the time. A lot of shit [Pusha] was saying just didn\u2019t make sense to me.\u201d<\/p>\n
