Neil Hodgson has been \u2018struggling\u2019 to watch Marquez at Ducati<\/a>, as he sees him as the \u2018polar opposite\u2019 of how he was at Honda. He sees the Spaniard as riding the bike slower and easier, but the results and dominance remain the same.<\/p>\n He has a comfortable lead of 120 points over brother Alex Marquez, heading into the second half of the season. Crashes at COTA and Jerez have prevented his advantage from being even more vast, with many waiting to see when Marc Marquez will claim his seventh MotoGP<\/a> title.<\/p>\n The Ducati rider is determined to win another crown in the premier class, evidenced by Marquez\u2019s \u2018military discipline\u2019 in training<\/a>. He has been putting in the effort to return to the top after years of injury setbacks, and the 32-year-old continues to stagger his crew chiefs.<\/p>\n Marquez enjoyed incredible success with crew chief Santi Hernandez at Honda, before he moved on to Gresini and linked up with Frankie Carchedi. He is now working alongside Marco Rigamonti at Ducati, and Mat Oxley says they all say the same thing about him.<\/p>\n Speaking via the Oxley Bom Podcast, he says they all view Marquez as a \u2018complete genius\u2019 at helping them develop and set up the bike. Subsequently, Oxley dispelled the \u2018complete myth\u2019 that the Ducati rider does not know what to do for a set up.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd another thing this year with Fermin [Aldeguer], Frankie [Carchedi] learned a lot working with Marc last year. The Spaniard is enjoying a brilliant season with crew chief Rigamonti by his side.<\/p>\n Rigamonti says Marquez is far more humble than expected<\/a> after noticing his character behind the scenes.
