Fallout season 2 has already become Prime Video’s sixth most-watched series of all time in four weeks.<\/p>\n
As reported by Deadline<\/a>, Fallout’s second season ranks behind both series of Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Reacher seasons two and three, and the first season of Fallout.<\/p>\n Looking at just the returning seasons chart, Fallout ranks at No.4 behind Reacher and Rings of Power.<\/p>\n Fallout season 2 premiered on December 16, 2025, with episodes airing weekly as opposed to its first season in 2024.<\/p>\n Amazon has yet to release the full viewing figures for Fallout season 2, but has shared some interesting stats including that a sizable chunk of its audience reside in the UK, Germany, and Brazil.<\/p>\n “We are thrilled with the Fallout season two reception from audiences and critics globally,” said Amazon MGM Studios head of global TV Peter Friedlander. “After its first four weeks, Fallout season 2 […] is even higher rated on Rotten Tomatoes than season 1.”<\/p>\n It currently holds a 97% certified fresh rating<\/a> compared to season one which has a 93% score<\/a>.<\/p>\n “More than half of the season’s audience to-date has come from outside the US, and we’re excited for even more viewers to discover the show as we continue to release new episodes over the weeks ahead,” Friedlander concluded.<\/p>\n In response to the show’s popularity, the video game franchise experienced “significant spikes” in engagement and sales<\/a> across all platforms, according to analyst data.<\/p>\n The number of concurrent Fallout players on Steam has doubled<\/a> since the second season began, rising from an average of 20,000 to over 40,000 since it premiered.<\/p>\n Amazon renewed Fallout for a third season last May<\/a>, and has since greenlit a reality competition inspired by the franchise<\/a>.<\/p>\n Fallout Shelter will consist of ten episodes, and will be co-produced by Fallout series producer Kilter Films and Studio Lambert, the company behind The Traitors and Squid Game: The Challenge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Fallout season 2 has already become Prime Video’s sixth most-watched series of all time in four weeks.
