NRL centre Krystian Mapaplangi has decided to take his talents overseas despite recently being spotted training with the Manly Sea Eagles squad.<\/p>\n
Spending last year with the Wests Tigers, the exciting 23-year-old back has confirmed that he will be spending the next couple of years overseas in the Super League after inking a two-year contract with the Castleford Tigers.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve heard plenty of great things about the club, who pride themselves on hard work as a blue collar town,\u201d he said in a statement.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m looking forward to playing high-level footy against some great players in this competition. Also playing in front of the passionate Castleford fans, I\u2019ve been told their support is unreal!\u201d<\/p>\n

Discovered as a junior by Alex McKinnon, Mapaplangi has shown he is useful in a number of positions, including the centres, on the wing, at fullback, and in the halves as a livewire playmaker.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m really pleased to see this deal over the line, it\u2019s been one we have been discussing since I arrived at the club. Maps has got all the attributes needed to succeed in the Super League and he\u2019s another great addition to the squad,\u201d Tigers head coach Ryan Carr said.<\/p>\n
