Saturday’s matches at the Australian Open matches have been brought forward due to an extreme heat forecast in Melbourne.

The Australian Open<\/a> has adjusted its Saturday schedule in response to an extreme heat forecast in Melbourne, where two-time defending champion Jannik Sinner<\/a> and record 10-time winner Novak Djokovic<\/a> are in action.<\/p>\n

The day-session matches on Arena courts such as Rod Laver<\/a> Arena, Margaret Court Arena, and John Cain Arena have been moved forward to a 10:30 a.m. start (local time). Play on all other courts will begin at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe expect pleasant conditions tomorrow morning, in the mid-20s, and will start play earlier and take advantage of the more temperate conditions,\u201d Australian Open<\/a> Tournament Director Craig Tiley said.<\/p>\n

Sinner faces Eliot Spizzirri<\/a> in the second match on Rod Laver<\/a> Arena, not before 12 p.m., while Djokovic opens the night session on the same court against Botic van de Zandschulp<\/a>. Top 10 players in the PIF ATP Rankings, Lorenzo Musetti<\/a>, Ben Shelton<\/a> and Taylor Fritz<\/a>, are also in action.<\/p>\n
