His death was ruled a homicide and is being investigated. Johnson was 55.<\/p>\n<p>A fourth-round draft pick by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/ne\/new-england-patriots\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New England<\/a> in 1993, Johnson spent time with the Patriots, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/min\/minnesota-vikings\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Minnesota Vikings<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/lv\/las-vegas-raiders\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Oakland Raiders<\/a> before landing with the Eagles. He had 43 tackles and seven sacks and returned a fumble for a touchdown in two years with Philadelphia. He played 15 games for the Raiders in 1997.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\" lazyload lazyload\" data-image-container=\".inline-photo\" height=\"320\" width=\"570\"\/>Kevin Johnson played in 38 career games over three seasons with the Eagles and Raiders.\u00a0Otto Greule Jr.\/Allsport<\/p>\n<p>Johnson later played in the Arena Football League for Orlando and Los Angeles. The Los Angeles native played collegiately at Texas Southern.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators believe Johnson had been living at the encampment at the time of his death.
