{"id":433756,"date":"2026-01-24T05:14:15","date_gmt":"2026-01-24T05:14:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/433756\/"},"modified":"2026-01-24T05:14:15","modified_gmt":"2026-01-24T05:14:15","slug":"suns-devin-booker-exits-loss-to-hawks-after-rolling-right-ankle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/433756\/","title":{"rendered":"Suns&#8217; Devin Booker exits loss to Hawks after rolling right ankle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ATLANTA &#8212; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nba\/team\/_\/name\/phx\/phoenix-suns\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Phoenix Suns<\/a> guard <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/player\/_\/id\/3136193\/devin-booker\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Devin Booker<\/a> injured his right ankle Friday night against <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"15096a54-f015-c987-5ec8-55afedf6272f\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nba\/team\/_\/name\/atl\/atlanta-hawks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Atlanta Hawks<\/a> and limped off the court.<\/p>\n<p>The Suns did not have an update on Booker&#8217;s injury after losing 110-103 to the Hawks, but he was seen leaving the locker room on crutches.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Pretty unlucky,&#8221; Suns coach Jordan Ott said of the injury. &#8220;We&#8217;ll just have to take a look when we get back to Phoenix.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Booker, a four-time All-Star, went down with five seconds remaining in the third quarter after rolling his ankle on the foot of the Hawks&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/player\/_\/id\/4431680\/onyeka-okongwu\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Onyeka Okongwu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Booker was on the floor for several minutes before walking to the training room under his own power &#8212; albeit limping and appearing to be in significant pain.<\/p>\n<p>Booker scored 31 points in 28 minutes before the injury.
