Her workouts range from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the type of workout and her schedule. \u201cAbove all, I prioritize consistency over intensity,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<p>Coleman has a holistic approach to her health and fitness, and as well as movement, considers everything from nutrition and good sleep, to work-life balance and stress management.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI focus on the big picture rather than just the time I spend in the gym,\u201d she tells Fit&amp;Well. \u201cTraining is important, but real progress comes from how all the pieces fit together.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI prioritize recovery by getting enough rest, managing stress and allowing my body time to adapt. I also pay close attention to proper fueling, making sure I eat in a way that supports both performance and overall health.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust as importantly, I work to maintain a healthy balance with the rest of my life, so fitness enhances my daily routine instead of overwhelming it. Find an exercise you enjoy<\/p>\n<p id=\"115c369c-86f3-4680-a407-c4ff5700a8df\">The best way to stay consistent is to find an exercise you enjoy, says Coleman.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLife is hard enough without our workouts feeling like another chore on the to-do list,\u201d she says. \u201cWhen movement brings joy, it becomes something you want to show up for rather than something you feel forced to do.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEnjoyment creates consistency, and consistency is what actually leads to long-term results\u2014both physically and mentally. When you feel supported, connected, and excited about how you move your body, exercise becomes a sustainable part of your life rather than a temporary phase.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-2-recruit-a-workout-buddy\" data-url=\"\" href=\"\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\"\/>2. Recruit a workout buddy<\/p>\n<p id=\"0784d46a-7b6e-4968-9512-474ac1702b22\">\u201cAnother way I stay motivated is by recruiting a workout buddy. It makes early alarms, tired days and jam-packed schedules much more manageable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Coleman says training with a friend not only makes it more enjoyable, it also means she\u2019s less likely to cancel at the last minute.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you\u2019re showing up for someone else, the odds are always higher that you\u2019ll show up\u2014at least I think so!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-3-think-of-exercise-as-a-privilege-rather-than-a-punishment\" data-url=\"\" href=\"\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\"\/>3.
