\n Emily Lonsdale, 23, has launched Fit Studio at Lower Barn Farm, Beaumont, after months of planning and renovation.\n<\/p>\n
\n She has turned a new building into a fully equipped fitness space and is thrilled to have finally opened the doors.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cI have always had a passion for health and fitness and went to the University of Lincoln where I studied sports development and coaching,\u201d said Emily.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWhen I was in Australia I discovered Reformer Pilates.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I fell in love and I saw a gap in the fitness market in the local area and wanted to be able to bring it home for everyone else to fall in love with.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cIt\u2019s hard for lots of people to find exercise that they enjoy and people come and become obsessed and fall in love.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Emily has been working on the new studio since September.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cIt\u2019s a brand-new building, so we had to lay the floor, add lighting, fit the windows and doors, build shower and toilet facilities and have the machines delivered, and that took time,\u201d she said.\n<\/p>\n
\n The studio also hosts yoga sessions, expanding its timetable to offer people a broader range of classes.\n<\/p>\n
\n Opening a business at just 23 has been a major step, but Emily said she feels proud and inspired by the community\u2019s response.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cI love it,\u201d she said. \u201cI just love having people come in and find something that they love to do.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cI\u2019ve had an amazing response so far.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I\u2019m really overwhelmed to be honest.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cSo many people have come and been supportive, so many have passed referrals on to all their friends.”\n<\/p>\n
