\n\tPARIS \u2014 Clinique La Prairie<\/a>, which specializes in longevity clinics and integrative medicine, is focusing on mental health<\/a> with the launch of the Life Reset program in its centers in Switzerland and China.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is billed to help people release stress, support emotional balance and resilience, and reconnect with their inner calm. The program lasts for seven days and six nights, and targets high-powered individuals or those starting on their longevity journey.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMental health is a driver of longevity,\u201d said Olga Donica,\u00a0longevity innovation director at Clinique La Prairie<\/a>, who helped create the program. She explained the clinic had always looked at individuals\u2019 longevity capital, but more from a biological health standpoint.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe were missing an important component of human biology, which was this layer that is fragile, complex, that basically unifies body and mind,\u201d Donica said. \u201cMental health<\/a> was an area of health that we did not explore from holistic and longevity perspectives.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSince the coronavirus pandemic, people have increasingly homed in on their mental health. It\u2019s becoming a big business. The mental health market is estimated at $98.19 billion this year, according to Mordor Intelligence, which expects it will grow to $115.63 billion by 2031.<\/p>\n

\n\tClinique La Prairie<\/a> two years ago launched the Brain Potential program, centered on cognition and brain health.<\/p>\n

\n\tLife Reset was created by Clinique La Prairie\u2019s innovation team and reviewed by an independent scientific committee. They first studied the science behind mental health and well-being.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe new program is based on what is called the nine hallmarks of mental health and well-being, which is a proprietary framework. Clinique La Prairie considers it to be the first structured model defining the interconnected dimensions of mental balance and resilience.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt focuses on \u201cfoundations,\u201d such as sleep recovery and social connections; the \u201cwell-being catalyzers,\u201d like resilience, vitality gut, immune and cardiovascular health, and the \u201cthriving factors,\u201d including cognitive performance and positive emotions.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt contains components that are meant and intended to deliver a transformative effect in your life,\u201d Donica said, adding the program is a 360-degree holistic intervention for each guest.<\/p>\n

\n\tEach has a Longevity Master Assessment prior to starting what\u2019s dubbed the \u201c4Rs Journey,\u201d referring to release, reset, reconnect and renew. Each Clinique La Prairie program begins with the CLP Longevity Method, a molecular screening process, which results in personalized plans.<\/p>\n

\n\tFrom a mind-expert level, Clinique La Prairie has brought in four practices: mental health coaching with a hypnotherapy component, meditation, breathing and immersive experiences in nature, which integrate aromatherapy science and fascia stretching.<\/p>\n

\n\tLife Reset also includes technology-delivered therapies, which are noninvasive, such as low-frequency vibration therapy through sound and vagus nerve stimulation.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cToday you have powerful, very good technologies that deliver an impact on your health with immediate effect,\u201d Donica said.<\/p>\n

\n\tPeople will be taught how to carry-over some practices at home.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe want to cultivate new habits that really enable an important shift, which is the longevity mindset,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\tClinique La Prairie created supplements for Life Reset, which are given to clients during their weeklong stay, plus for an additional 60 days when they return home.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Life Reset program, which is not designed to address existing pathologies, starts at 14,900 Swiss francs, or $19,200.
