{"id":440757,"date":"2026-01-27T13:18:14","date_gmt":"2026-01-27T13:18:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/440757\/"},"modified":"2026-01-27T13:18:14","modified_gmt":"2026-01-27T13:18:14","slug":"mounjaro-stolen-from-st-albans-pharmaceutical-company-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/440757\/","title":{"rendered":"Mounjaro stolen from St Albans pharmaceutical company"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">A large quantity of weight loss drug Mounjaro has been stolen from a medical distributer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Hertfordshire Police said the drug was taken from Phoenix Healthcare Distribution, on Handley Page Way in St Albans, shortly before 18:40 GMT on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">People are being urged to make sure they are only buying the product from reputable companies as they have to be kept at low temperatures.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Phoenix provides medication to more than 6,700 clients across the UK, including community pharmacies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Det Sgt Yolanda Morales-Willis said: &#8220;These weight loss drugs must be stored correctly and are dangerous if they are not administered in the right way.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">&#8220;These, along with other pharmaceutical items, should only be prescribed via a healthcare professional or bought through registered companies.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Anyone who is offered the drugs at unusually low prices, or by unfamiliar companies, is asked to contact Hertfordshire Police.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A large quantity of weight loss drug Mounjaro has been stolen from a medical distributer.
