{"id":443021,"date":"2026-01-28T13:46:08","date_gmt":"2026-01-28T13:46:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/443021\/"},"modified":"2026-01-28T13:46:08","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T13:46:08","slug":"adama-traore-fulham-winger-joins-west-ham","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/443021\/","title":{"rendered":"Adama Traore: Fulham winger joins West Ham"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/football\/teams\/west-ham-united\" class=\"ssrcss-ckhpdl-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">West Ham<\/a> have signed winger Adama Traore from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/football\/teams\/fulham\" class=\"ssrcss-ckhpdl-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fulham<\/a> in a deal worth up to \u00a32m. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The 30\u2011year\u2011old moves from west to east London, where he reunites with Nuno Espirito Santo, who managed him at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/football\/teams\/wolverhampton-wanderers\" class=\"ssrcss-ckhpdl-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wolves<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The deal, worth an initial \u00a31m, could rise to \u00a32m with add-ons and runs until the end of the season with the option of a further year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Capped eight times by Spain, Traore has made just two Premier League starts for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/football\/teams\/fulham\" class=\"ssrcss-ckhpdl-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fulham<\/a> this season and was not involved in their 2\u20131 win at home to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/football\/teams\/brighton-and-hove-albion\" class=\"ssrcss-ckhpdl-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Brighton<\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;I&#8217;m so happy to be here, so happy to help the team the maximum I can and show my quality,&#8221; said Traore.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;My mentality is always to do better. It&#8217;s always to improve as a player, to help the team as much as I can and I always say, if I&#8217;m the same person as yesterday, it&#8217;s one day lost.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;I love the challenges. I think, of course, we have to go game by game. And this is what we&#8217;re going to do, trying to do our best. I think everything comes from belief.
