As rural and underserved communities look to implement high-speed broadband, there are need-to-know considerations that shouldn\u2019t be overlooked to ensure a fiber project supports a community\u2019s goals.<\/p>\n
Based on my experience in broadband policy and the telecom industry, including more than 10 years on my local Indiana Economic Development Council, here are some strategies and best practices local governments and stakeholders should consider, not only before the initial broadband build-out begins, but also when planning for future infrastructure and technology needs.<\/p>\n
