Notre Dame football got great news when 2027 quarterback commit Teddy Jarrard decided to reclassify to the 2026 class<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He\u2019ll officially sign with the Irish next week, as there still have been teams trying to flip him<\/a>, but it doesn\u2019t look like there are any worries. More good news with Jarrard is that ESPN named him as having the \u201cmost NFL upside\u201d of any quarterback<\/a> in his class.<\/p>\n

The list was comprised by Craig Haubert and Tom Luginbill, as the said that \u201cage and development are on Jarrard\u2019s side\u201d with the move. They compare his physical attributes to current USC<\/a> quarterback Jayden Maiava, and noted that he could take a similar path to the Notre Dame starting job as CJ Carr.<\/p>\n

Notre Dame will have to be patient with him, and he knows that the plan at the moment. Jarrard, depending on how long Carr is in South Bend, could eventually take over the job and produce similar early results. It\u2019s great to see that not only are the Irish high on him, that ESPN is as well.<\/p>\n
