{"id":448394,"date":"2026-01-30T23:48:07","date_gmt":"2026-01-30T23:48:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/448394\/"},"modified":"2026-01-30T23:48:07","modified_gmt":"2026-01-30T23:48:07","slug":"greg-shipperd-to-leave-cricket-nsw","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/448394\/","title":{"rendered":"Greg Shipperd to leave Cricket NSW"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"w-article__summary\">Cricket NSW will part ways with NSW Blues and Sydney Sixers Head Coach, Greg Shipperd, at the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.<\/p>\n<p>Shipperd\u2019s association with Cricket NSW began in 2015, when he was named Sixers\u2019 Head Coach ahead of KFC BBL|05.<\/p>\n<p>Across eleven seasons and 145 matches under his watch, the club won two titles in BBL|09 and BBL|10 and played in nine of 11 finals series.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2022, Shipperd took charge of the Blues in an interim capacity, before being appointed to the post in May 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The experienced mentor has strengthened the state\u2019s male program during a period spanning 31 Sheffield Shield and 22 One-Day Cup matches, which included an appearance in the 2023-24 One-Day Cup Final.<\/p>\n<p>Shipperd will oversee the Blues\u2019 remaining four Sheffield Shield and two One-Day Cup matches this season, and any Finals should the team qualify.<\/p>\n<p>Cricket NSW will commence the process to identify a new Head Coach for each of the NSW Blues and Sydney Sixers.
