I blitz it up and do a lesser version for my children with some honey, and they take it before their porridge. It builds up the antioxidants and staves away colds and flus.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;It\u2019s a good habit to get into, we do it every morning. You have a pint of it with hot water. If you don\u2019t have time to blitz it, you can just roughly chop it up, half a lemon, a big lump of ginger and fresh turmeric. Put it in a keep cup and drink on the way to work.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">She also follows a daily exercise routine. &#8220;I work out in the gym, there\u2019s one across the road from the office. I am there four days a week. I had been doing a fair bit of training for the half marathon, which I have eased back on now. I mix strength and conditioning training with running.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;They\u2019re my non-negotiables, even for my mental health I find it so beneficial. I am lucky with my schedule, I start early and can get into the gym in the afternoon before it gets busy and I have to collect the girls from school. I find that because I am getting up so early, I am wrecked come 7pm, so getting out at that stage would be much harder.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">As we near the end of January, people might be disappointed that they haven&#8217;t achieved their New Year\u2019s resolutions, but Kathryn says she isn&#8217;t a fan of them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;When it comes to health and wellness, and making changes, you don\u2019t have to wait until January every year. The pressure of that time of year can be quite overwhelming. The statistics show that loads of people join a gym in January and it all falls away in February.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;You can put good habits into your life at any time of the year. Find someone to train with, schedule exercise into your evenings.
