{"id":44866,"date":"2025-08-05T08:12:14","date_gmt":"2025-08-05T08:12:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/44866\/"},"modified":"2025-08-05T08:12:14","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T08:12:14","slug":"stronger-buying-interest-lifts-bursa-malaysia-at-midday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/44866\/","title":{"rendered":"Stronger buying interest lifts Bursa Malaysia at midday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia ended the morning session higher, lifted by stronger\u00a0buying interest following the 13th Malaysia\u00a0Plan (13MP) announcement, with market sentiment leaning towards the upcoming United States (US) economic data release.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At 12.30 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) rose 6.12\u00a0points, or 0.40\u00a0per cent, to 1,533.10\u00a0from Monday\u2019s close of 1,526.98.<\/p>\n<p>The benchmark index had opened 1.65 points higher\u00a0at 1,528.63 and moved between 1,528.63\u00a0and 1,536.95\u00a0throughout the morning session.<\/p>\n<p>The market breadth was positive, with 414 gainers outpacing 400\u00a0losers.
