bold;\">Angers attacker Sidiki Cherif \u2018reminded <a style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/insidefutbol.com\/crystal-palace\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Crystal Palace<\/a>\u2018 that he has decided he wants to sign for Fenerbahce, after the Eagles made another move for him.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The highly rated Cherif is a player Crystal Palace have been chasing during this month\u2019s transfer window, having identified him as a top prospect in French football.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Just 19 years old, Cherif went on a run of scoring in three consecutive Ligue 1 games earlier this season, netting against Monaco, Lorient and Marseille, further raising his profile.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Palace have been facing competition from Fenerbahce <a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/insidefutbol.com\/2026\/01\/30\/does-not-want-to-wait-any-longer-crystal-palace-risk-missing-out-on-star\/704762\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">and it emerged that the attacker has picked the Turkish giants<\/a>, who are thrashing out a deal for him.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Eagles though have not given up and made a \u2018fresh attempt\u2019 to sign Cherif on Friday, but were met with the player reminding them he wants Fenerbahce.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BobbyManzi\/status\/2017345054004703424\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">X<\/a>: \u201cUnderstand Crystal Palace made a fresh attempt to sign Sidiki Cherif from Angers today.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, the player reminded #CPFC that he has decided on Fenerbahce.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>French close eye on the situation in the event an opportunity to steal in does arise, with Cherif highly regarded at Selhurst Park amongst the recruitment team.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: side have bolstered their final third options already however, with Evann Guessand arriving at the club on a loan deal from <a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/insidefutbol.com\/aston-villa\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Aston Villa<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Crystal Palace have an option to keep the 24-year-old on a permanent basis at the end of the season should he impress and have paid Aston Villa a loan fee for his services.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The new attempt for Cherif though indicates Crystal Palace are not happy to stop at Guessand and would like to add another attacker before the window closes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It is nevertheless expected to be all change at Crystal Palace in the summer
