James Harden scored 25 points and handed out nine assists for the Clippers, who had won 16 of their previous 19 games climb into 10th place in the West.<\/p>\n
Elsewhere, Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic had a triple-double by half-time, sparking the Lakers to a 142-111 rout of the Wizards in Washington.<\/p>\n
Doncic finished with 37 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists for his sixth triple-double of the season.<\/p>\n
He had racked up 26 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists in less than 19 minutes on the floor when the Lakers took a 77-48 lead into halftime.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just played my game, whatever the defence gives me,\u201d said Doncic, who was backed by 28 points from Deandre Ayton and 20 from LeBron James as the Lakers connected on better than 61 per cent of their shots from the field.<\/p>\n

It was just last week that the Knicks looked lost, having dropped nine of 11 games. Brunson was asking his teammates to \u201ccare\u201d more than they had been showing. Their contender chops were being questioned. <\/p>\n
