The MMA community has reacted to Quillan Salkilld\u2019s submission win over Jamie Mullarkey earlier tonight, at UFC 325. <\/p>\n
In 2025, Quillan Salkilld had secured highlight reel knockouts against<\/a> Anshul Jubil and Nasrat Haqparast. However, tonight, to kick off the main card in style, Salkilld decided to do things differently. <\/p>\n In front of his home crowd, the Aussie secured a first-round stoppage, this time by forcing the tap from his opponent with a rear-naked choke at the 3:02 mark of Round 1<\/a>. Mullarkey showed good takedown defense in the opening minutes of the first frame. However, he was taken down again, and once back to the mat, Salkilld sunk in the rare naked choke, enough to seal the night.<\/p>\n
