The graphic highlighted events such as Minnie Mi\u00f1oso breaking the franchise\u2019s color barrier in 1951 and Al Smith becoming the first black All-Star in team history. Thomas was not mentioned anywhere. <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-2\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"61\">The graphic is below:<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">In celebration of Black History Month, we reflect upon momentous firsts for the White Sox organization. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/kCW4WmtamQ\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/kCW4WmtamQ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Chicago White Sox (@whitesox) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/whitesox\/status\/2017979152255660082?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">February 1, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-4\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"67\">Thomas was less than happy with what the franchise posted, and <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/thebighurt_35\/status\/2017997339139407941?s=46\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">took to social media <\/a>to air out his grievance. <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-5\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6a\">The Hall of Famer posted the following on X: <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-6\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6d\">I Guess the black player who made you rich over there and holds all your records is forgettable! Don\u2019t worry I\u2019m taking Receipts!<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-7\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6g\">Yeah, I\u2019d say he\u2019s pretty upset. <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-8\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6j\">Thomas was a five-time All-Star and two-time American League MVP during his 16 years as a member of the White Sox. He won four Silver Sluggers, topped 500 home runs, and had a career slash line of .301\/.419\/.555. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2014, his first year on the ballot.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-9\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6m\">Aside from his individual career milestones, Thomas also holds several White Sox records. He is the franchise record holder in home runs (448), RBIs (1,465), runs (1,327), doubles (447), walks (1,466), slugging percentage (.568), and on-base percentage (.427).<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-10\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6p\">The fact that the White Sox left him off that graphic is mind-boggling. In 1994, Thomas became the first black player to win back-to-back American League MVPs.
