The property has attracted statewide attention over the years, including featuring on Queensland Weekender, after Ms Hubbard helped co-ordinate Ipswich\u2019s award-winning heritage open-home program in partnership with the National Trust of Australia (Queensland).<\/p>\n
\u201cWe moved from Brisbane to Ipswich to grow our family,\u201d Mrs Hubbard said.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur kids were part of this house from day one \u2013 painting, gardening, climbing mango trees, running laps around the formal garden. Some of our best memories happened right here \u2013 and we have a photo slide at the opens to showcase these beautiful memories.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are only a handful of homes like this left.<\/p>\n
