The Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) today announced a transformative strategic partnership with AIA Sports in a landmark alliance that will equip Fiji’s national teams with cutting-edge, data-driven performance analysis and implement a first-of-its-kind centralized digital management platform, designed to optimize player development, coaching strategy, and organizational excellence.

The partnership will lay the foundation for the Fiji Rugby Management System (FRMS) which will capture player data from as young as 12-years-old to Skipper Cup and Subrails Marama Cup to our national teams.

The AIA program utilizes a dedicated team of rugby specialists in video analysis, data science, and statistics. By processing match footage through advanced coding, it delivers a comprehensive synthesis of every on-field action, providing Fiji’s coaching staff with unparalleled insights for training and tactical planning.

The FRMS represents a digital transformation for Fijian rugby. Serving as a centralized professional platform, it will provide a secure, streamlined system for player registration, training load monitoring, and administrative communications—replacing outdated, disparate methods with a cohesive digital spine for the entire rugby ecosystem.

Mr. Koli Sewabu, CEO of Fiji Rugby, heralded the partnership as a historic turning point.

“We are not just announcing a new partner, we are announcing a strategic alliance that will fundamentally reshape how Fijian rugby operates, trains, and competes on the world stage,” said Sewabu.

“While our natural talent is our greatest treasure, the modern game demands more. This partnership is about systematically closing the performance and operational gap with Tier 1 nations. From grassroots clubs to our Flying Fijians and Fijiana, we will now operate with a unified, professional system.”

Mr. Thomas Lièvremont, CEO of AIA Sports, expressed his company’s pride in supporting an iconic rugby nation.

“We are extremely proud to partner with a Union whose values and talents are admired worldwide,” said Lièvremont.

“Together, we share a vision to combine the unique identity of Fijian rugby with innovative management and data solutions. We look forward to building a strong, ambitious collaboration driven by trust, excellence, and a shared passion for the future of Fijian rugby.”

AIA Sports extended its gratitude to the FRU Board and leadership, including Chairman John Sanday and CEO Koli Sewabu, for their trust in selecting AIA as a partner.

This alliance marks a significant step in Fiji Rugby’s commitment to leveraging technology and innovation, ensuring the nation not only maintains its world-renowned playing style but also enhances its structural foundations for sustained success at all levels of the game.

The Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) today announced a transformative strategic partnership with AIA Sports in a landmark alliance…

[567
64,63,760,85
post-452906","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-rugby","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-rugby","tag-sports
["GET
