The six-time major champion said he and his wife, Amy, have a family matter to attend to.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I can&#8217;t wait to compete again and look forward to rejoining my teammates as soon as possible,&#8221; Mickelson said in the statement.<\/p>\n<p>Ollie Schniederjans will fill in for Mickelson at LIV Golf Riyadh, but the post didn&#8217;t mention whether the former No. 1 amateur would compete in Mickelson&#8217;s place at Adelaide.<\/p>\n<p>Mickelson is captain of the HyFlyers team, which features Cameron Tringale, Brendan Steele and <a href=\"https:\/\/sports.yahoo.com\/articles\/reigning-ncaa-champion-michael-la-151839928.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:recent signee Michael La Sasso;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">recent signee Michael La Sasso<\/a>, the reigning NCAA individual champion.
