The UFC made its 21st stop in Australia on Saturday with UFC 325<\/a> at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, and in the main event, a local hero prevailed.<\/p>\n

Alexander Volkanovski<\/a> (28-4 MMA, 15-3 UFC) got the chance to show out on home soil for perhaps the final time in his career when he outworked Diego Lopes<\/a> (27-8 MMA, 6-3 UFC) to a unanimous decision<\/a> in their rematch, marking the first successful title defense in his second reign as featherweight champion.<\/p>\n
