The tournament announced the news via social media on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The Spaniard lifted the trophy at the ATP 500 event last season but won\u2019t return to defend his crown at the indoor hard-court event, which will be held from 9-16 February. Top 10 stars <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/alexander-zverev\/z355\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Alexander Zverev<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/felix-auger-aliassime\/ag37\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Felix Auger-Aliassime<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/alex-de-minaur\/dh58\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Alex de Minaur<\/a> will be in action in Rotterdam.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/carlos-alcaraz\/a0e2\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Carlos Alcaraz<\/a> won&#8217;t defend his title in Rotterdam.
