He provided no timetable for a return.<\/p>\n<p>Durant was picked as <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/nba-all-star-reserves-lebron-ff1b6fbaaeb730770fa41224e10aac9d\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">an All-Star reserve Sunday,<\/a> his 16th All-Star selection. He played nearly 38\u00bd minutes in Saturday&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/rockets-mavericks-score-cc02bb054a51903a1bab829222771b4b\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">111-107 victory over Dallas<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/player\/_\/id\/4711272\/reed-sheppard\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Reed Sheppard<\/a> was expected to replace Durant in the lineup.<\/p>\n<p>Durant has not previously sat out a game this season because of injuries. He sat out two games in November for personal reasons.
