Astera has released compact spotlight QuikBeam, designed to deliver defined beams for uplighting, accents and feature highlighting.<\/p>\n
The latest addition to its Quik family of focusing LED Fresnels, the spotlight measures 136mm x 120mm and weighs 1617g.<\/p>\n
Quikbeam offers an equivalent power of a 200W tungsten and features a 13\u00b0-60\u00b0 Fresnel-based zoom, swappable QuikBrick batteries, and built-in Power over Ethernet (PoE), alongside a new HotBeam function to push beyond 13\u00b0. The fixture includes 3\/8\u2033 and 1\/4\u2033 built-in threads and a removable yoke, with integrated AirlineTrack for tripod or truss mounting (via 28\/16 TrackSpigot). Control options include built-in CRMX, wireless DMX, the Astera app, UHF connectivity, infrared remote control, or web interface.<\/p>\n
Users can choose from three charging methods: via PoE while wired in the fixture, within the optional ChargingDock (charges up to 4 QuikBricks at once), or through its USB-C port. For hardwired applications, users can connect QuikBeam up to 100 metres from the PowerInjector or IP65 NetBox, which enables 4 PoE EtherCON outputs and PrepBox functionality. QuikBeam combines power and data in a single cable, supporting standard sACN and ArtNet signals. The IP65-rated fixture works with existing PoE switches and the battery charges when connected.<\/p>\n
Driven by Astera\u2019s Titan LED Engine, QuikBeam provides RGBMA colour rendering that matches across all Astera products.<\/p>\n
The QuikBeam includes a range of accessories for shaping light. Lightweight barndoors allow for precise control, while an EdgeSoftener filter softens the beam to mimic a traditional Fresnel falloff. A rotatable elliptical filter can also be fitted, changing the circular beam into an adjustable ellipse for architectural or selective lighting applications.<\/p>\n
Multiple unit flight cases will be available via Astera distributors.
