Controversial internet personality<\/a> Lil Tay claims she made more than $1 million within three hours of launching an OnlyFans account on her 18th birthday.<\/p>\n

The social media star announced the launch of her OnlyFans page at 12.01am on July 29, as soon as she turned 18, calling herself the \u201cyoungest girl on OnlyFans\u201d in the account link.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, she shared a screenshot of her earnings with her 5.8 million Instagram<\/a> followers, claiming she had broken the platform\u2019s record.<\/p>\n

\u201c$1M in 3 hours. We broke the f*** out of that OnlyFans record,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor all the grown haters who\u2019ve been hating since I was nine years old, look at me now. What y\u2019all got to say? Y\u2019all been doubting me for seven years. You can hate me all you want \u2014 you can\u2019t say Lil Tay ain\u2019t winning,\u201d she said in a video.<\/p>\n

She went on to encourage others to live life on their own terms.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo for everybody out there, do whatever the h*ll you want with your life, who gives a f*** what people have to say?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd remember this: Lil Tay Rich and finna get richer.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Tay\u2019s post<\/a>, more than $511,000 came from subscriptions, while $486,558 was earned through private messages.<\/p>\n

Lil Tay first rose to fame at just nine years old, posting videos of herself rapping.<\/p>\n

The explicit content of her lyrics ranges from bragging about selling drugs, to getting in fights and driving $200,000 cars without a licence.<\/p>\n

In August 2023, Tay became the subject of a viral death hoax<\/a> after her Instagram account was reportedly hacked.<\/p>\n

A statement falsely claimed that the then-14-year-old had died \u201csuddenly and tragically,\u201d along with her older half-brother, Jason Tian.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire\u2019s sudden and tragic passing,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have no words to express the unbearable loss and indescribable pain. This outcome was entirely unexpected, and has left us all in shock.\u201d<\/p>\n

A day later, Tay clarified both were alive.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I\u2019m completely heartbroken and struggling to even find the right words to say,\u201d she told TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy Instagram account was compromised by a third party and used to spread jarring misinformation and rumours regarding me, to the point that even my name was wrong.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy legal name is Tay Tian, not \u2018Claire Hope\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

That \u201cfake\u201d post was later deleted.<\/p>\n
