He was traded to the Leafs in early 1952 for centre Fleming Macknell.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He scored 23 goals and added 88 assists during his Leafs tenure,<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Morrison went on to a second stint with the Bruins, traded for Hockey Hall of Famer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/allan-stanley\/8449155\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/allan-stanley\/8449155\" target=\"_blank\">Allan Stanley<\/a> in 1958, and would also suit up for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/detroit-red-wings\/17\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/detroit-red-wings\/17\" target=\"_blank\">Detroit Red Wings<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/new-york-rangers\/3\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/new-york-rangers\/3\" target=\"_blank\">New York Rangers<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/pittsburgh-penguins\/5\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/pittsburgh-penguins\/5\" target=\"_blank\">Pittsburgh Penguins<\/a>, Morrison played his last NHL game in 1971.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">For his career, Morrison had 47 goals and 191 assists in 704 NHL contests.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Morrison\u2019s son, Dave Morrison, appeared in 39 NHL games for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/los-angeles-kings\/26\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/los-angeles-kings\/26\" target=\"_blank\">Los Angeles Kings<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/vancouver-canucks\/23\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/vancouver-canucks\/23\" target=\"_blank\">Vancouver Canucks<\/a> over four seasons. <\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Toronto Maple Leafs announced the passing of Jim Morrison on Tuesday at the age of 94.
