I\u2019m winning.\u2019 He\u2019s holding on to me here. There\u2019s not much he can do.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t realise my ass was actually on his face. I thought that I was sitting on his chest. <\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s why I\u2019m trying to swing back these punches thinking his head\u2019s there and I\u2019m like, \u2018Why aren\u2019t I hitting his head?\u2019 Because I was literally sitting on his face. <\/p>\n \u201cSo I thought his head was maybe a little bit further out. So I apologize for that. Lopes, I didn\u2019t know I was sitting on your face.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBut yeah, he went for the leg and then I knew I\u2019d get out of that and I knew there wasn\u2019t long left and I thought I\u2019d throw a couple of bombs and finish on top and and there it was.\u201d<\/p>\n Volk also revealed that he hasn\u2019t been quite the same since his knockout defeats to Islam Makhachev and Ilia Topuria.<\/p>\n He says he\u2019s not as confident in his knowledge of if he\u2019s winning rounds and makes sure he consults with his corner on how things are unfolding during a fight.<\/p>\n \u201cEver since the KO losses you go into these fights and you\u2019re probably not thinking the same that I once was in there,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s harder for me to judge how I\u2019m doing in the fight.\u201d<\/p>\n Volkanovski says he felt better in Sunday\u2019s fight with Lopes, but it is still an element of his game that he\u2019d like to work on.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a lot worse in the first fight against Lopes and getting through that \u2013 I won\u2019t get too much into it. <\/p>\n \u201c[It was] Much better this time, [but it\u2019s] still there. Still hard for me to judge how I\u2019m doing in the fight.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll go back to the corner and say, \u2018How are we doing?
