(.Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort)<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Owing to our privacy obligations we are unable to provide further comment.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to a translation of a local media report, the man went missing while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.9news.com.au\/skiing\" target=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"skiing\">skiing<\/a> with a group of friends between Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort and Niseko Annupuri International Ski Resort in Niseko, Hokkaido.<\/p>\n<p>Police joined the search for man, who found him being given CPR by a group of four.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency services rushed the man, who had no visible injuries, to \ufeffhospital where he later died.<\/p>\n<p>Police are currently investigating the cause of the man&#8217;s death and the circumstances surrounding the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Local media reports the man had been working at a lodging facility.<\/p>\n<p>It is believed the Sunshine Coast woman went into cardiac arrest after becoming stuck in a chairlift and suspended in the air.\ufeff<\/p>\n<p>NEVER MISS A STORY: Get your breaking news and exclusive stories first by following us across all platforms.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"An Australian man has died after he disappeared near a ski resort in Japan on Tuesday.
